Men Should Stay Out of Women's Sports
The article "The thing that never happens keeps happening" by Jennifer Sey gives prime example of why men shouldn't be able to compete in women's sports. They have biological advantages that women physically cannot compete with.
AB Hernandez is a transgender male that identifies as a female. He competes in women's track and field. In a past competition he participated in the long jump and the high jump and placed 3rd and 8th taking qualifying spots away from biological girls. Hernandez feels justified in what he's doing, even his mother said, "her son just works harder than the girls, and if they only worked harder, they'd be able to beat him." First of all, completely wrong! Hernandez has a biological advantage that women could only math through drug use and then they'd be disqualified for cheating. Second, he placed 8th, his height record is embarrassing compared to the other girls and doesn't even come close to the average male record in the sport. Many women have protested against his actions because women have a long history of fighting just to be able to play sports let alone be recognized in the competitions. They've worked very hard just for the right to compete let alone the extra effort to win only to be bested by a man that shouldn't be allowed to compete with them.
After reading this rage-baiting article, it is fair to say when males compete in women's sports they'll win, and it cuts the women out of their own division. In my opinion, that shouldn't be allowed due to women's efforts to be able to participate in the sports industry in the first place. How is it fair that a male that hasn't even worked hard enough to place in the male's division is allowed to cut women out with little to no effort because they are biologically different. I support the protests fully that men shouldn't be in women's sports.
