Is Writing a True Relief?

The article I plucked from the Apple Barrel was, "Write What Disturbs You", written by Isra A. The theme of the article explored writing as a form of unofficial therapy, but does it truly work?

The author of the article recommends keeping a journal and I couldn't agree more! My opinion matches the authors, that dumping your thoughts onto a page truly declutters the brain. My curiosity drove me to peruse the comments below, because I had to know if people agreed. The general consensus was a positive outlook. A vast majority of readers also partook in spewing their thoughts onto a page. There were many descriptors used such as: freeing, liberating, and unbinding.

In conclusion, writing is a free and highly simple reliever that anyone can enjoy. Writing in a journal allows you to be honest with yourself and analyze the behaviors you are writing down that plague your mind. This results in a clear mind and personal growth.
